Founding Partner
Chris began his career at GEICO as collision damage adjuster. After two years, he stepped into leadership roles across the Houston market, where he led all claims operations from 2015-2018. In 2018, he advanced within GEICO to a Director of Collision claims on the East Coast, where he oversaw a $2B claims budget, a $30M expense budget, and a team with more than 300 adjusters and two management layers. Acting in this capacity for five years, Chris earned experience in leadership, emergency management, government relations, and executive level communication.
In 2023, Chris moved to a Corporate Strategy management position at Frontier Communications, where he developed and implemented an enterprise-wide transformation project and played a key role in Verizon’s acquisition of Frontier and the subsequent integration. He has concentrated solely on J&C Capital’s formation since January 2025.
Chris leverages this unique blend of operational leadership and strategy in lower middle market entrepreneurship through hands on executive leadership, partnering with the senior platform leaders to drive business improvements and strategic initiatives.
Chris earned his BS in Economics from The University of Texas at Arlington and his MBA from Rice University.

Founding Partner
James began his career as a U.S. Army Officer, where he served in multiple leadership roles, including Assistant Division Information Services Director, Company Executive Officer, and Rifle Platoon Leader. Over seven years, he led dispersed cross-functional teams through high-stakes operations across the Pacific and managed multimillion-dollar contracts with a focus on disciplined execution and strategic planning.
Following his military service, James built a career at the intersection of finance, technology, and operations. At Riverside Insights, a PE-backed ed-tech firm, he drove operational efficiencies by implementing Saas tools, improved customer experience, and served on the internal strategy committee. He later joined Raytheon Technologies and led FP&A for a $1B business unit, introducing automated reporting tools and managing executive-level forecasts. Most recently, he joined AT&T, where he now serves as an Associate Director – Financial Analysis, overseeing a team responsible for FP&A and network infrastructure consolidations.
James brings a systems-oriented approach to operational improvement, leveraging his technical and analytical background to professionalize small businesses. At J&C Capital, he leads technology implementation and platform-level infrastructure improvements to support scalable integration and growth.
James earned his BA in Business Administration from Simpson University and an MBA from Rice University.
